According to the government-backed money service MoneyHelper, before children reach the age of 7, they will have formed the majority of their money habits based on what they experience and what they see from their parents. We give advice to parents for introducing children as young as 3 to money in its simplest form.

Of course! Finabee aims to encourage learning through family activities and interactions where open and honest conversations can take place. Parents can sign up for the parent side of the app where they can be rewarded for reading blogs and interacting with the community forum. It’s a family affair!
Both children and parents can earn our virtual currency “honeypots” through the app by engaging with our resources and content. For children, they earn honeypots by completing course modules and passing quizzes. For parents, you can earn honeypots for reading blogs and engaging with the community forums. Within your family, you can pool your honeypots together and purchase rewards through the parent side of the app of any one of our retail partner’s vouchers or our own branded digital products.
It’s simple!
All you need to do is go to the rewards store within the app, choose the voucher or digital product you want to purchase, click on the reward and then click “Buy Now”. You will only be able to buy a reward if you have enough honeypots saved for that reward.
Once you have clicked “Buy Now” on a voucher or digital product, the reward will be stored in your Wallet in the profile section of the app. The expiry of vouchers will be clearly displayed so you can keep track of how long you have to use it at the specified reward partner. Finabee digital products will never expire and you will be able to download these directly from the app.
If you have redeemed your Honeypots for a reward voucher, the voucher is valid until its expiry date. The expiry date is clearly displayed on the voucher so you can keep track of how long you have to use it at the specified reward partner. Once the voucher expires, it will no longer be available for use and will disappear from your wallet.
